And Naomie Harris got her red carpet ensembles off to a dazzling start as she attended two events in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Kicking things off to a rather chic start at the 2014 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon at The Beverly Hills Hotel, the 37-year-old actress looked the picture of ladylike elegance in an immaculate white ensemble.

The Cambridge graduate completed her first red carpet ensemble of the day by wearing her long raven locks tousled into loose waves, while complementing her striking features with bold bronze make-up and a set of fluttering false lashes.

Featuring a cinched-in waist to showcase her tiny middle in all its glory, Naomie's daring dress was teamed with a pair of eye-catching monochrome and orange striped stiletto heels.

Naomie was unceremoniously snubbed by BAFTA for her role as Winnie in the Mandela biopic, as was co-star Idris Elba, who also failed to receive a nomination for his portrayal of the great Nelson Mandela.

Writing last month, he said: 'Ok peeps, ...I've got an appointment at the @BAFTA I'm gonna do a #Lutherrage and ask where @NaomieHarris nomination?'
