But Naomie Harris proved she certainly has a bright future as she dazzled in an eye-catching multi-coloured dress as she attended the Charles Finch and Chanel pre-BAFTA Dinner at Annabel's in London on Saturday night.
Mingling with an A-list crowd at the star-studded event, the 37-year-old actress positively oozed effortless glamour in her geometric print dress with an unusual asymmetric neckline.

Adding height to her frame with a pair of towering black stiletto heels, the Cambridge-educated actress wore her raven locks poker straight and accentuated her naturally striking features with sexy smouldering make-up.
Chatting to her boyfriend Peter Legler and British model Laura Bailey, Naomie was joined at the pre-BAFTA event by her Long Walk To Freedom co-star Idris Elba.

Idris also failed to receive a nomination for his portrayal of the great Nelson Mandela and while he didn't seem too upset by his own lack of acceptance, he sprung to Naomie's defence via his Twitter page.
Writing last month, he said: 'Ok peeps, ...I've got an appointment at the @BAFTA I'm gonna do a #Lutherrage and ask where @NaomieHarris nomination?'
This year's BAFTAs, the 67th British Academy Film Awards, will take place on Sunday night at London's Royal Opera House, with Stephen Fry hosting the event for the ninth time.

Gravity leads the nominations with an impressive 11 nods for Leading Actress, Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Director for Alfonso Cuarón, Original Screenplay, Original Music, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Sound and Special Visual Effects.
12 Years a Slave and American Hustle follow closely behind and are each nominated in ten categories, while Captain Phillips has nine nods.
American Hustle, 12 Years A Slave, Captain Phillips, Gravity and Philomena will battle it out in the hotly-contested Best Film category.
