To ensure filming was able to continue smoothly, a sign was placed just down the road from Big Ben reading: 'The producers and crew would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during preparation/filming of this production.'
It comes a month after the film's director Sam Mendes was seen making his way to London's City Hall as he prepared to shoot scenes inside the iconic building.
