Daniel Craig was spotted running frantically through the streets of Mexico City on Wednesday.
The British actor's sprint, while wearing a dapper suit, was not for exercise however as he was filming a tense scene set during a Day of the Dead carnival for the latest James Bond movie Spectre.
Just the day before the film crew set off an explosion sending rubble and smoke across the cobble stone streets.

And the following day saw the 47-year-old running across the rubble, most likely in search of the culprits behind the explosion.  
Once on the main thoroughfare he was met by large inflatable skeletons were attached to a series of cars and trucks, standing tall in all their menacing glory to recreate the Mexican holiday.
A host of extras dressed in macabre costumes gathered for the set piece.

With their faces elaborately painted to resemble skeletons and their clothing customised to further portray them as the living dead, the extras got ready to march in a parade.
The carnival-like scenes were reminiscent of the 1973 Bond classic Live And Let Die, which was shot in such locations and New Orleans and Jamaica and featured Mardi Gras-style jazz funerals.
Recently, a poster was released for the highly anticipated flick as it seems the star took some fashion tips from a previous incarnation of the franchise.

Daniel wore a black turtleneck, brown leather shoulder holster and brandished a gun much like Sir Roger Moore in Live And Let Die. 
And the new movie is sticking close to the tried and tested Bond format, with the official synopsis on IMDB revealing, 'A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.
'While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.'

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman, 28, had become the latest female addition to Spectre, joining previously announced stars Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.
The news was announced on the official James Bond Twitter account, where the post read: 'We are pleased to announced that @SigmanStephanie has joined the cast of #Spectre as Estrella.'
Model-turned-actress Sigman will play the mysterious character in the 24th Bond film, with further details being kept under wraps.
Sam Mendes, who directed the previous Bond flick Skyfall, is helming the movie set for release on November 6.
