007 Body double films dramatic helicopter fight scenes for Spectre wearing a full Daniel Craig mask

Spot the difference! Body double films dramatic helicopter fight scenes for Spectre wearing a full Daniel Craig mask as the James Bond actor stays on firm ground

It wouldn't be a James Bond film without one or two death defying stunts.
New images from the set of the latest spy movie, Spectre, show James Bond grappling with another man in a moving helicopter.
Daniel Craig is happy to leave his stunts to the professionals and on Saturday people watched as a body double with a full prosthetic mask took on the task.

The violent sequence, which was filmed in the air above Mexico City will reportedly be the opening scenes of the movie
The stunt man is seen punching another man in a beige suit who appears to also have a head wound.
James Bond appears to comfortably defeat his opponent in the fist fight as he even seems to hold him out of the chopper window.

Onlookers would not be blamed for confusing the body double for Daniel Craig himself with the costume department giving him an amazing full face mask to wear during filming.
Spotted walking down the street it was easier to notice the prosthetics, but nonetheless, not obvious.
Back when was promoting his last instalment of Bond, Daniel explained to Jimmy Kimmel that he would gladly admit that he doesn't do the scary stuff himself.

He told the late night TV host: 'I don’t do all my stunts—I’d be lying if I said that. But I like the fact that occasionally that you’ll see on screen that it’s my face and it’s me.
Daniel added: 'And I think audiences hopefully appreciate that. At least, I really hope they do.'
Car lover Craig also talked about the thrill of getting to drive the iconic Aston Martin DB5 but admitted he prefers to be driven by the profession on-set stunt drivers than handle the automobiles himself.

'On the movie I get taught to drive by these really great drivers,' he said. 'Every time we do one I drive a bit, spin it around a bit but the biggest thrill is having a really good driver take you on a course.'
'I giggle like a girl the whole way around,' he said to much hilarity.
The first teaser trailer for the new James Bond film was released on Friday, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios have also shared some stills from the set.

In one image we see Monica Bellucci pulling a sombre expression as Lucia Sciarra, the widow of an assassin killed by 007, while wearing a black hat and veil as a clapperboard readies the set for the take.
Another gives a shadowy look of Christoph Waltz's villain Franz Oberhauser.
Waltz's face is obscured by the dark, but he sits at a conference table with two flunkies on either side. Bond fan's enjoyed their first taste of Oberhauser in the teaser trailer.

Artfully framed, the 96 second taste of what to expect from the forthcoming film finds a brooding Bond reliving his past after a mysterious box of personal effects is uncovered following the events of Operation Skyfall.
'You've got a secret,' Naomi Harris' Moneypenny correctly surmises. 'Something you can't tell anyone... because you don't trust anyone.'
Bond later examines its contents -a yellowing temporary adoption certificate and dog-eared childhood photo, part of which appears to missing.

The film also gives us a first look at Monica Bellucci, who takes the role of  Lucia Sciarra, the widow of an assassin killed by 007.
Later, as Bond journeys through a mountainous landscape he confronts and old acquaintance - to whom he returns a ring engraved with a symbol instantly recognisable as the insignia of the global crime synidicate this 24th offering directly references.
'I always knew death would wear a familiar face, but not yours,' the shadowy acquaintance says as the item is handed over.

Not without menace, he adds: 'You're a kite dancing in a hurricane, Mr. Bond.'
The all too brief trailer ends with the appearance of the enigmatic Franz Oberhauser.
His introduction is not unlike that of arch Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the character Waltz was initially rumoured to be playing.
'It's been a long time,' he whispers. 'But finally... here we are.'
Expectation has been steadily building since plans to shoot SPECTRE, the 24th film in the iconic, Broccoli produced franchise, were set in motion – and not without reason.

Buoyed by the unprecedented commercial success of predecessor Skyfall – that film grossed $1,108.6 million worldwide in box office receipts – Daniel Craig has signed up for two more offerings, while director Sam Mendes and talented screenwriter John Logan also make a welcome return.
While subverting Bond mythology by turning the past into a sleek, polished and highly contemporary present, Spectre remains true to the jet setting spirit of the franchise.
The production has so far taken in locations across Austria, where dramatic Alpine scenes were filmed in February, London and, more recently, Mexico City - the setting for a macabre Day of the Dead themed procession.

The carnival-like scenes were reminiscent of the 1973 Bond classic Live And Let Die, which was shot in such locations and New Orleans and Jamaica and featured Mardi Gras-style jazz funerals.
The new movie is sticking close to the tried and tested Bond format, with the official synopsis on IMDB revealing, 'A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.
'While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.'
