Filming of new James Bond movie Spectre suspended as Daniel Craig injures knee while shooting a fight scene
Daniel Craig has been injured while filming the new James Bond movie Spectre.
The 46-year-old actor sprained his knee while shooting a fight scene for the Skyfall sequel.
The accident - which happened at Pinewood studios in Buckinghamshire earlier this week - has sparked panic with movie bosses as the film was already on a tight shooting schedule.

Injured: Filming on the new James Bond movie Spectre was halted after its leading man Daniel Craig sustained a knee injury while shooting a fight scene
A source said to The Sun newspaper: 'Bond bosses would have been panicking.
'Filming deadlines are so tight, any sort of delay can bring mayhem to the schedules.'
The movie's extras were even told to go home for the day after the star injured himself on the set.
The source added: 'The extras were simply told, 'You can go home - Daniel's injured his knee'.'
However, a spokesperson for the movie ensured fans on Friday evening that the actor is on the mend and filming is set to resume this weekend.
Happy to be back: Daniel got into character while filming scenes for Spectre recently, while on a boat on London's River Thames
They said: 'Daniel Craig sustained a knee sprain this week while shooting a fight sequence on the set of Spectre.
'He will be filming on Saturday as planned.'
So far, production on the big-budget James Bond movie has seemingly gone according to plan, with the star-studded cast seen filming on various locations for the film, which is set for release in November.
The forthcoming movie - the 24th in the hit franchise based on the classic Ian Fleming novels - has been shot in several locations so far, including London and atop a snowy mountain in Austria.
The latest installment in the franchise sees the actor reprise his role as the British spy for the fourth time.
With Sam Mendes taking to the director's chair once more, Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Monica Belushi, Dave Bautista and Andrew Scott are all lined up to star in the blockbuster.
Waltz has been widely expected to assume the role of legendary villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, head of the Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.
However the Oscar winning actor insists his part is more complex than speculation suggests.
Asked if he would head the fictional terrorism organisation, Christoph told Collider: ‘No. No. It's more interesting than that.’
This came shortly after the leading actor said the script for Spectre is ‘better than we had last time’.
According to Daniel, the new film should be superior to the 2012 hit Skyfall, which made more than $1.1 billion at the worldwide box office.
He said: ‘We've got an amazing cast and, I think, a better script than we had last time.’
All-action: The cast and crew were also recently on location in Austria to film a particularly gripping catastrophe-filled scene
