Daniel Craig looks deadly in all-black and wielding a gun in the first official footage from Spectre

Bond is back in action: Daniel Craig looks deadly in all-black and wielding a gun in the first official footage from Spectre

The first footage from the new James Bond film has been released and already 007 is getting his hands dirty.
During filming of Spectre in Austria, Daniel Craig takes part in what producers describe as a 'major action sequence' wearing head-to-black and carrying a gun.
The final shot of the video sees Bond give a goon a two-handed punch before shooting another dead on top of the snowy mountain.

Another part of the footage shows an explosive scene with a man, who looks like Bond, running towards a fiery collision of cars in front of a ski lodge.
Associate producer, Gregg Wilson says, 'We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak. It's going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off.'
Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista shot their first scenes for Bond 24 under the direction of Sam Mendes.

'It's very surreal, it looks like a painting,' Bautista says in the video, 'it's my first time ever on a mountain.'
He plays rumoured villain Mr Hinx in the film while Seydoux takes on the role of femme fatale Madeleine Swann.
They were filming in the snowy mountains of Sölden, Austria as well as Obertilliach and Lake Altaussee, but the production will also take place at Pinewood London, as well as in Mexico City, Rome, Tangier and Erfoud, Morocco.

Production Designer Dennis Gassner adds, 'The thing that Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top SKYFALL, it's going to be SPECTRE and so far it's a great start.
'I think that we are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world.'
The 24th Bond film will see 007 on the trail to uncover a sinister organisation after receiving a cryptic message. While M (Ralph Fiennes) battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
