Something to flap about! Naomie Harris leads the cheer at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards in 20s style yellow dress

She may have missed out on supporting actress of the year to Lupita Nyong’o at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards.
But Naomie Harris was the style winner as she attended the ceremony at the Mayfair Hotel on Sunday evening.
The 37-year-old looked like a much needed ray of sunshine wearing a stunning yellow flapper dress which flattered her toned figure.

The stunning number, with featured a sheer top section, moved about as she elegantly entered the venue.
Accessorising the 1920s inspired look she wore a pair of silver T-bar heels, a Boucheron ring and Jessica McCormack earrings, while she carried a small clutch.
Looking as gorgeous as ever she wore her hair in big bouncy curls down her back and showing off her natural beauty she kept her make-up to a minimum.

Naomie was up against Sally Hawkins, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o and June Squibb in the best supporting actress category.
At the ceremony the actress revealed the greatest review she received for her performance as Winnie Mandela in The Long Walk To Freedom was from Winnie herself.
The Bond girl said: ‘It's a huge honour to have people like the movie and like my performance, that's really fantastic.

‘But the main thing that really mattered most to me was hearing Winnie say that she felt that I'd captured her and I'd honoured her legacy. That was huge to me and I'll never forget that.’
She was joined at the ceremony by a whole host of British talent, including John Hurt, George MacKay, Andy Serkis, and Lindsay Duncan.
Steve Coogan , who was up for his roles in Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa , The Look of Love, Philomena and What Maisie Knew was also in attendance but he failed to take home any prizes.

Former WAG Lizzie Cundy made an appearance, making sure she stood out in a red skater style dress featuring a lace collar detail.
Her long brown hair was styled in curls, falling down her shoulder and she completed her look with a pair of black peep-toe heels.
Director Steve McQueen attended the event as his film 12 Years A Slave leads nominations with Film of the Year, Best Actor (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Best Director (Steve McQueen) and Supporting Actor (Michael Fassbender) - the film received all the awards apart from Best Director which went to Alfonso Cuaron for Gravity.

Gary Oldman looked excited as he arrived ahead of accepting the Circle’s most prestigious award, the Dilys Powell Award For Excellence In Film.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony about the title, he said: ‘I am truly honoured, and humbled to be named for this prestigious award, especially when one considers both who is doing the awarding and also the inspirational list of past recipients.’
And at the event itself he admitted it was nice to get an award from the critics. He joked: ‘You don't have to look over your shoulder tonight.’
Cate Blanchett was named actress of the year for her performance in Blue Jasmine and Dame Judi Dench won British actress of the year.
