Daniel Craig hints he WILL return as James Bond as he joins Spectre co-stars on The Graham Norton Show
It's the question on every Bond fan's lips.
And after previously admitting he'd rather 'slash my wrists' than play James Bond for a fifth time, Daniel Craig has had somewhat of a change of heart.
Dapper Daniel, 47, hinted he will reprise the role as the Secret Service agent during a pre-recorded interview on The Graham Norton Show on which he appeared alongside his 007 co-stars Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz and soundtrack songwriter Sam Smith.

Change of heart: Daniel Craig hinted he will return as James Bond following Spectre during a pre-recorded interview on The Graham Norton show which will air on Friday evening
When asked by 52-year-old show host Graham whether the almost-guaranteed success of Spectre means so much money will be thrown at him he will have to reprise the role, the award-winning actor said: 'I'll genuinely say that I have never done any job for the money. I can't think about another one right at the moment because we have literally just finished this one.
'Now all I care about it getting the film in front of an audience. But, we'll see.'
Daniel added in an interview with The Sun that he's not bound by any sort of contract, saying: 'There is no contract. It's up to me.'
'I have the right to change my mind any time I want to.'
No pressure: When asked by chat-show host Graham whether the fact that the new highly-anticipated 007 release will generate a generous sum means he will have to reprise his role as the Secret Service agent, he said: 'Now all I care about it getting the film in front of an audience. But, we'll see'
Career freedom: Daniel, 47, added that he is not bound by any sort of contract and that he has the right 'to change my mind at any time'
007 special: Daniel, who was wearing Thom Sweeney, appears on The Graham Norton Show alongside co-stars Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz and soundtrack songwriter Sam Smith
The conversation with Graham soon turned to the criticism he received when he was originally cast as Bond and Daniel remained defiant, saying: 'You can't please everybody. At the time I just ducked and got on with it. There’s always speculation and excitement around a Bond movie and people have different opinions.'
Asked if it annoys him to read rumours about who is being headhunted to fill his shoes if he does decide to cut ties with the billion-pound franchise, he said it doesn't interest him to read it or get involved.
Although his main focus is promoting Spectre, the fact that he's treated 'very, very, very well treated' as Bond could sway his decision to return.
'You can't please everybody': Daniel added that the criticism he received when he was first cast to play Bond didn't bother him
However, the eight-month filming process, which took him, the cast and the crew to all corners of the globe, wasn't all fast cars and fancy gadgets as an injury sustained on set ('I knackered my knee' which left him fearing the shoot would be seriously interrupted) forced production to shut down for two weeks.
Daniel - who was dressed in a grey suit by Thom Sweeney - explained: 'I knackered my knee. Sadly the bit when I did it wasn’t in the film. It was really a shame. I had to have surgery but it worked out quite well because everyone got a two week rest.'
He also revealed he had surgery on his shoulder and both knees.
No time for a tux: On Thursday morning, Daniel was pictured looking uncharacteristically dressed-down as he left his London hotel for the ITV studios where he was conducting one of many interviews
Not as uncooperative as he's made out to be: The actor proved his loyalty to James Bond fans by signing autographs
Daniel and his co-stars recently kickstarted the whirlwind promotional tour of Spectre in London.
On Thursday, he was pictured looking uncharacteristically dressed-down as he left his hotel for the ITV studios where he was conducting one of many interviews.
The on-screen agent traded in his spywear for an all-blue ensemble which comprised indigo turned-up jeans, plain T-shirt, V-neck cardigan, bomber jacket and suede desert boots.
He warded off the early-morning chill with a matching flat cap and scarf.
Making her mind up: Moneypenny actress Naomie is keen to return to the Bond franchise
While Daniel is undecided about whether to return, 39-year-old Naomie, who plays Moneypenny in the upcoming release, is hopeful Spectre isn't the start and end of her time as a Bond Girl.
'I hope so. Fingers crossed. I would definitely like to.'
The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC One at 10.35pm on Friday 23
Pleasantly surprised: The 39-year-old added she auditioned for the part 'as a laugh' and never thought she'd get it
