Need for speed! Daniel Craig takes to the water as he films new James Bond film Spectre... but leaves all the hard work to his stunt double

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the latest James Bond flick Spectre this November.
And the Sam Mendes-directed blockbuster is sure to live up to expectations if the high-octane action scenes shot on the River Thames in London on Sunday are anything to go by.
Daniel Craig was spotted clambering aboard a speed boat alongside French actress Léa Seydoux to film a fast and furious chase between Westminster and Vauxhall, taking place against the scenic backdrop of MI5 and the Houses Of Parliament.

However, the 47-year-old actor - who is back for a fifth time as the titular hero - left most of the hard work to his lookalike stunt double.
Daniel, wrapped up in a blue parka, was spotted chatting to crew members and director Mendes before taking to the waters alongside new Bond girl Léa.
The Blue Is The Warmest Colour actress also had her own stunt double for the high-speed boat chase, which saw 007 trailing a helicopter down the river.

The doubles whipped off their jackets, revealing a classic trench for Lea's lookalike and an all-black ensemble for Daniel's doppelgänger.
Film buffs lined the banks of the Thames in an effort to catch a glimpse of Daniel in the latest installment of the big-screen adventure series.
Some bridges over the river were temporarily closed to the public as crew in high-vis vests warned pedestrians from getting too close to the action.

Spectre, which also stars Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris, is scheduled for release on November 6, 2015 and filming has picked up speed in recent weeks since the action moved to London's Pinewood Studios.
Daniel previously revealed he tries to do as many of his own stunts as possible in order to make his performance more authentic.
'I like the fact that occasionally you’ll see on screen that it’s my face and it’s me. And I think audiences hopefully appreciate that', he told chat show host Jimmy Kimmel.
Spectre follows the smash success of Skyfall, which grossed 1.1 billion dollars worldwide.
Filming has so far taken place in a number of exotic locations, including Austria, Rome and Mexico City.
