Naomie Harris: Premieres leave me cold

Naomie Harris doesn't like wearing heels but practises in designer styles when playing Eve Moneypenny in James Bond.
Naomie Harris has been freezing on the red carpet recently.
The beautiful actress always stuns at A-list events and has designers clamouring to dress her. However in the colder months, she finds the bad weather often takes away from the glamour.
"It gets really cold on the red carpet at this time of year and if you're wearing a beautiful dress, you can't really cover up in a coat or fit any kind of thermal underwear underneath," Naomie laughed to standard.co.uk.
One of the actress' most iconic cinema roles has been playing Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond movies. She's back in the forthcoming instalment Spectre, which is due out next year.
Her Bond alter ego is just as glamorous as Naomie, and the 38-year-old has put in the time to perfectly master Moneypenny's stylish strut.
"A lot of actors say a character starts with the shoes. In James Bond rehearsals I wear a lot of the sportswear brand Y3 but with Burberry kitten heels because Miss Moneypenny wears heels.
"I've had to put in some serious time and effort practising walking in heels. Whenever I have to present anything in heels, I have nightmares the night before about falling over. A catwalk is my idea of hell," she giggled.
While stilettos may not be her thing, fashion is Naomie's forte. She's won countless acting accolades over the years and always knows how to make a statement with her outfit.
"A couple of Oscars ago I wore a gold dress made of recycled materials, including sweet wrappers, by Ghana-born designer Michael Badger. It had a large split up one side. You have to have a certain amount of grace to pull off the thigh-high-split look... you also have to be very careful about the underwear you wear," she smiled.
